SLA StreetMap Mobile


We are glad to announce that the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) and MapKing (Singapore) Pte Ltd have jointly launched a mobile version of the online StreetMap at Singapore, named SLA StreetMap Mobile. It can be downloaded for free onto mobile devices running on Windows Mobile OS and can now be viewed on PDAs and PDA phones.

Main features:

  • High quality digital maps with latest map database provided by SLA
  • 2,000 buildings, 4,200 named roads, and 120,000 updated address points
  • MapKing engine allows multiple search modes by index / crossing / Q-Find /
         POI / position / city / town / Lat / Long / keyword


    • System requirement:

  • Microsoft Window Mobile 5.0 or above
  • Screen resolution  240x240 or 240x320
  • Minimum 32MB RAM
  • 64MB storage card is recommended
  • The PC MUST have Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5 or above


    • Kindly noted that:

  • The SLA StreetMap Mobile is neither routable nor navigable
  • The SLA StreetMap Mobile does not support GPS

    The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) is a statutory board with the Ministry of Law. Its mission is to optimise land resource for the economic and social development of Singapore. SLA is responsible for the direct management of some 14,000 hectares of State land and about 5,000 buildings. It is also in charge of land sales, leases, acquisitions and allocation, developing and marketing land-related information, and maintaining the national land information database through digitised land information services.
